Math Basket was created by a licensed secondary education math teacher who taught at-risk kids for several years.

“After seeing students struggle with understanding and coming to my classroom with gaps in their learning, I realized that math just isn’t being taught in an understandable and meaningful way.

My goal is to offer simple, brief, and comprehensive mini-lessons to parents and/or their kids. Math Basket has written explanations, sample problems, and practice problems to teach a wide variety of math content addressed in national and state standards for math.

When kids can learn math in a fun way where they actually get it, suddenly motivation runs high, the parents are happy, and quality of life improves.”
